Missio Dei was started by MD Foundation (Pty) Ltd. In Sepember 2010 as a Non Profit Company to administrate all the community upliftment work. Today Missio Dei consist of three different Non Profit Companies to achieve the calling we received from God.
Missio Dei Ficksburg
Missio Dei Ficksburg is focused on all the projects that are run in the Ficksburg area. This includes the, MD School, MD Clinic and MD Health Care Centre. Although a big part of the funding for these projects come from MD Foundation (Pty) Ltd. We also depend on donors from other places to support our projects.
Mission Dei South Africa
At MD Foundation we realised very early that we were not able to do all this community work by ourselves. By the grace of God, more people from outside Ficksburg got involved to work with us in the Kingdom of God. Missio Dei South Africa raises funds from other places to support the projects in Ficksburg. Missio Dei South Africa also has the vision to replicate some of the projects in other communities outside Ficksburg, more projects were started in Gauteng, Western Cape and Northern Cape.
Missio Dei Education
Missio Dei Education focus on education models to help solve the challenges we face in South Africa. We started a school in 2011 and soon realised that we will have to find ways to impact more children. We started remedial classes for grades 3’s at schools in the local township called Meqheleng. Through the grace of God we were able to replicate these models to more schools in Soshanguve, Mamelodi, Hammanskraal, Rust de Winter, Olievenhoutbosch, Oliefantshoek and Vredenburg. The aim of these remedial classes is to provide Maths and Reading training to children in grade 3.

MD Education NPC can also help businesses to comply to most of the requirements concerning BBBEE e.g. Social development, skills development and supplier development. MD Education is also structured to hold shares in companies to serve as a BEE partner.
